As part of its ongoing investment in its tractor product range, CLAAS has built a new Tractor Testing and Validation centre near Le Mans, which in addition to tractor testing and prototype evaluation work, will work in conjunction with the CLAAS Tractor product development, industrialisation and after sales departments. The new centre will also work closely with outside universities and other organisations with regard to future tractor developments.
Following major investment in the new Cab assembly line (€5 million) in 2008, and the new Painting Unit in 2010 (€10 million), the new Testing and Validation Centre represents a new era in the development of CLAAS tractors. It will provide a further step on the road to excellence
