Agriculture Minister Jim Paice was
given an insight into Britain’s biggest agricultural equipment manufacturer
when he visited JCB at Cereals 2012. The Minister of State for the
Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs was welcomed to JCB’s
stand by Group CEO Alan Blake.
Making its UK debut was the highly
successful 550-80 Agri Plus Loadall telescopic handler, which was developed
in direct response to customer demand for a machine with even greater lift
performance at reach. It has an 8.1 metre lift height and 5.0 tonne maximum lift capacity
Joining it on show for the first time
in the UK were the Fastrac 3000 Series tractors. The two models in the
range, the 3200 Xtra and 3230 Xtra, offer customers even more productive
and fuel efficient machines.
