John Deere dealer Hanlon Machinery of Dundalk, Co Louth is to open a new sales and service outlet to cover the North Co Dublin area, following the closure of Derek Plant Farm Machinery at Lusk.
“We have over 30 years of experience as a John Deere dealer and are delighted to be able to extend our support into the North Co Dublin area from our branch in Dundalk,” said sales manager Oisin Hanlon. “We are now finalising details on premises in the Lusk/Balbriggan area to give customers a local base.
“Noel Groves has been our main sales contact in the area since March, and we have already benefited from his experience and knowledge of the region. We will also be taking on further experienced staff so that we can continue to provide the best levels of sales, service and parts support to all existing and new customers.”
In addition to John Deere’s full line of agricultural equipment, including the new 6R, 7R and 8R Series tractors for 2012, Hanlon Machinery’s other key machinery franchises include HE-VA tillage equipment, Overum ploughs and Sulky fertiliser spreaders.
“This expansion of Hanlon Machinery into North Co Dublin is designed to provide continuity of support for our loyal and valued customers in the area,” added John Deere Limited division sales manager Edward Stephenson. “We are sure the knowledge and experience of the staff at Hanlon Machinery will deliver increased levels of support across the product range and maintain a strong and effective dealership presence for the future.”
