Media & Online Marketing Internship- (Summer 2012)

MachineShift.com is a market leading machinery sales website specialising in Agricultural, Industrial, Forestry & Material Handling equipment in Ireland & the U.K.

Job Summary:

The successful Intern will be responsible for producing promotional videos & meeting & interviewing clients to promote their goods on our specialist machinery sales website. Interviews will be with new and existing customers and by appointment only.

Further responsibilities will range from helping manage marketing campaigns to creative promotional campaigns and site optimization.

Job Duties:
-Plan, produce & edit promotional video content for our website.

-Participate in interactive marketing programs in partnership with clients.

-Conduct market research as required.

-Execute strategy to drive site activity and business growth.

Job Requirements and Experience:
-Enrolled in or recently graduated with a BA/BS degree, preferably in   Media Studies, Marketing or Communications.

-Passionate about developing a career in marketing/the media.

-Excellent presentation skills a must.

-Exceptional teamwork and communication skills.

-Some experience in interactive marketing a plus.

-Project management skills a plus.

-Video editing skills a must.

-Proactive and independent

-Design skills an advantage, but not essential

-Good English spoken and written
