Horsch UK expands sales team

Will Mallon has joined Horsch UK as area sales manager for the east of England.
Coming from an extensive agricultural background, Mr Mallon’s appointment
expands Horsch’s sales team and allows current area manager, Stephen Burcham, to
concentrate on promoting Horsch’s new products and the Irish market.

introduction of the cultivation equipment plus the established drills has really

Horsch Have New Advanced Sprayers

Horsch have 3 new sprayers the self propelled PT270 and the trailed GS 8000 and GS 6000 which it claims are the most technically advanced sprayers on the market today.
The development of the machines is part of Horsch’s partnership with Leeb a German sprayer manufacturer. The new company is called Horsch Leeb Application Systems GmbH.
The PT270 was designed to cover larage areas it features mechanical axis drive for better traction in hilly terrain and reliable 50km road speed. There is pneumatic nozzle control. The boom can be specified with a 25cm nozzle spacing which requires a boom height of 25cm above the crop keeping drift to a minimum. Horsch Leeb have designed an advanced contour following boom all sections can go above and bellow horizontal. Availanble in working widths up to 36m. The PT270 is equiped with a rotary pump and a stainless steel tank designed for long life and easy cleaning with out leaving any residue.
The GS8000 and GS6000 trailed machines have 8000ltr and 6000ltr stainless steel tanks. Other feature are low centre of gravity, low horse power requirment, tubular frame which allows the control systems to be fully enclosed there is a patented parallegram boom design which is hydrauliclly cushioned.
